For many of us, questions about the bible abound. How did the bible come into being?What does it mean when believers claim the bible speaks authoritatively? What about those miracle stories that contradict the laws of nature? Is the bible a just book of do’s and don’ts or, does the bible tell the grace-filled story about God’s love for creation, especially everyone created in God’s image?
These and more questions are addressed in Robert McAfee Brown’s classic, The Bible Speaks To You. Written over sixty years ago for adult Sunday School classes, this informative book still has a lot to say to us today. It is an easy yet profound read that will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the Bible, which is so central to our Reformed Christian faith and practice.
