Poetry, Religion, and Culture || Sundays, 11:15am–12:30pm, April 14 and 28 || With David Jackson in the Chapel || Many poets from our religious and cultural tradition have been deeply influenced and inspired by non-Western religious texts and worship styles. We will consider these points of religious and cultural intersection in a number of poems including Walt Whitman’s “Passage to India” and T.S. Eliot’s “The Waste Land”. You are encouraged to share your own faith influences, especially any non-Presbyterian ones.
