On Being Muslim
April 7 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
- This event has passed.
Using a video resource from the Institute of Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies (ICJS), “On Being Muslim” will explore Islam as a religion that nourishes body, heart, mind and soul. The word Islam means peace, surrender and submission, and a Muslim is one who has made a conscious decision to freely surrender and submit to the one and only God, the creator of every thing and every being. In this video ICJS Muslim Scholar Zeyneb Sayilgan will explain how Muslims try to embody these ideals in everyday life.
