Come one, come all to TPC’s ADVENT FESTIVAL!

Sunday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. all are invited to join us for our worship service. At 10:15 a.m. children will be dismissed from worship to our fellowship hall (Thompson Hall) where they will enjoy snacks, fun crafts and a service project! Parents are encouraged to join in the fun downstairs alongside the children after the service is over at 11a.m.  At that point, we will bring out the “modern advent wreath” and families will work on this project together.

This Service-Oriented Advent Festival will include:

1. Creating small bags filled with essential items for people who are homeless that families can keep in their cars.
2. Making Christmas cards for people who are homebound.
3. Simple but fun crafts!
4. Decorating a sugar cookie for a snack.

On this very Sunday our Alternative Gift Market will also be taking place, so grown-ups can also shop for fair trade items and donations towards fantastic non-profits (give a gift in honor of that “hard-to-shop-for” relative, and present him/her with a card describing the organization on Christmas morning)!
