Faith & Film: The Last Temptation of Christ

As part of TPC’s Faith and Film series, members 18 and over are invited to a Lenten screening of “The Last Temptation of Christ”, based on the book by Nikos Kazantzakis. Rated R when released 25 years ago, it explores the human side of the challenges, both mental and physical, that Jesus faced throughout His ministry and death and will be limited to audience members 18 or older. The 2 hour and 44 minute film does contain both brief nudity as well as the intrinsic violence of the Crucifixion and will be followed by an optional 1/2 hour discussion opportunity.
