Our adult spiritual formation program is designed to offer everyone – regardless of where you are on your own spiritual journey – a chance to intentionally explore faith. We divide our spiritual formation opportunities into three categories following a somewhat natural progression, although most faith journeys aren't a linear process. Start practicing your faith in whatever stage you find yourself, but keep in mind that each of these aspects are integral to the journey of spiritual formation.
Belong
Build friendships and community to support you on your faith journey.
Become
Learn about God and develop spiritual disciplines and practices.
Bless
Use your time and talents to serve others in tangible ways.
Belong
Our belong groups are designed to help you develop healthy relationships with others while sharing an activity of common interest.
Become
In our become groups, we go deeper in growing toward God by studying the Bible, ourselves, and how we live out our faith.
Bless
Our bless groups give you the opportunity to recognize the needs of others and use your gives to make a positive impact on the world.

READY TO ACT?
Join one of TPC's Action Teams!
Each team meets on a monthly basis and acts as a catalyst to promote hope and healing in a specific sphere of our community.
-
PEACEMAKING ACTION TEAM
Called to be “peacemakers,” at TPC we understand our call to help bring about a more just society. So while we recognize that good and faithful folks can disagree on all sorts of issues, we still explore them openly and honestly, looking for how the Spirit may be calling us invest ourselves in helping to heal areas of society’s brokenness. Ignoring society’s problems will only help them grow—we are called to engage and invest.
-
EARTH CARE ACTION TEAM
God not only blesses us with creation, God calls us to care for it. We take to heart this central tenet of our covenant with God, and work to lead both churchgoers and the community-at-large in addressing the growing environmental concerns we face.
-
HUNGER ACTION TEAM
The violence of poverty is both global and local. The Maryland Food Bank estimates that one in every nine Marylanders (including one in six kids) suffers from food insecurity. This causes more than just hunger pains. Food insecurity can lead to malnourishment, struggles in school due to an inability to concentrate, and social stigma. At TPC, we know we can and must do something about it.
READY TO LEAD?
Join one of TPC's Ministry Teams!
If you are a member or regular attender, consider participating on a committee. It is through these ministry teams, in partnership with a staff liaison, that members' gifts and passions are mobilized with the Holy Spirit to bring our mission to life!
