High Peake House & Heartlights class

TPC not only has a unique ministry among developmentally disabled adults with its Heartlights class, but also it is one of the few Protestant churches to sponsor a residential home for the developmentally disabled. Situated on property previously occupied by the Manse of TPC, the home was an eight-year mission project of a dedicated group of church members. It opened for the first group of residents in 1992. Currently eight developmentally disabled adults are in residence. Administration is provided by a state-certified service provider and is overseen by a special committee composed of TPC members and Presbytery nominees authorized by Session. Members of TPC are invited to visit High Peake any time and to serve on the High Peake Board.
