Children's Ministries

Children and youth can be found in worship, serving others with acts of kindness, and reaching out to others with welcome and openness.  Children are involved in learning, in and out of the classroom, with adult mentors and role models leading the way.  Our programs are designed to nurture children in their faith, to help them have a relationship with God, and to provide a safe and celebratory environment in which to learn the faith stories.  We strive to help children experience the presence of God, embrace a larger world and act with peace and justice, cultivate creativity and imagination, be generous with time and talents, seek the good, celebrate, and simplify their lives. In addition to the weekly Sunday School, children also have the opportunity to attend a week-long Summer Bible Camp, Camp BeeTree.

This fellowship group is designed to give Grade 4 and 5 students time to be together at the church on the first Friday of each month from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for fellowship and group building. The purpose of this group is to give fourth and fifth graders a connection to the church and to provide a safe place for young people to meet and have fun.  Activities span from fun events at off-site locations such as interesting places to rock climb, bowl, swim, or make art, to fellowship dinners and movies at the church to build community with fun games and snacks.  Our goal is to prepare this group to enter the middle school fellowship with friendship bonds and a good feeling about their church. Participants are encouraged to bring friends.
